Senior Civil/Structural Engineer – Build the Future of Maritime Infrastructure

Contract: Permanent • Location: London, Bristol or Glasgow

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from due diligence and concept design through to construction.
• Collaborate directly with clients and senior management.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
• Bring fresh, innovative thinking to infrastructure challenges.
• Work on a mix of UK and international projects: ports, harbours, jetties, flood defences, quays, breakwaters, waterfront developments, and more.

No two days are the same at Beckett Rankine – you may be on site inspecting an aging maritime asset one week, and shaping the masterplan for a new overseas port the next.

What We’re Looking For

• Chartered or nearly chartered Civil/Structural Engineer with a relevant master’s degree.
• Strong project management and client-facing skills.
• A team player who enjoys mentoring others.
• A proactive problem-solver with a flair for innovative thinking.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
