Senior Cloud Platform Engineer - GCP/Kubernetes Contract - 6 months Remote Outside IR35 £600-650 per Day ASAP start

Our client is looking for 2 Cloud Platform Engineers to join on a contract basis to help as part of a project that will have huge impacts in the training on AI worldwide.

Skills/Experience

Strong experience managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes tooling (Helm, kustomize) Familiarity with GitOps and tooling such as ArgoCD Proven expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly GKE Experience using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning Programming ability in Python and/or TypeScript Ability to produce clear, developer-friendly documentation and self-service tooling A collaborative mindset and focus on supporting internal teams

Role Responsibilities

Managing and optimising GKE Kubernetes clusters using Terraform Supporting compliance with standards such as SOC2, ISO-27001, and Cyber Essentials Designing automation and workflows to simplify and speed up developer operations Building infrastructure solutions that enable secure, reliable deployments Providing technical guidance on GCP and Kubernetes to other teams
