Senior Construction Lawyer (Energy sector)

We are working with a UK energy infrastructure operator to appoint a Senior Construction Lawyer to support the delivery of large-scale capital projects and the energy transition agenda.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to take a leading position and work on projects that will underpin the UK’s future energy system. The focus will be on non-contentious construction, with scope to advise across commercial and regulatory matters too.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting and negotiating complex construction agreements (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, EPC).
Advising on capital delivery programmes and future energy projects (hydrogen, biomethane, net zero).
Acting as a trusted legal partner to senior stakeholders.
Managing a small team of lawyers.
Candidate Profile
UK qualified solicitor with solid post-qualification experience in construction law.
Strong non-contentious background and exposure to disputes advantageous.
Confident advising senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Sector experience in energy, utilities or infrastructure highly desirable.
