Role- Senior Control Systems Engineer

Salary- £50,000- £70,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you’re looking for)

Type- Permanent

Location- Berkshire

The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Be Degree/ HND/ HNC/ NVQ qualified in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with electrical systems and components such as inverters, power supplies, switches, relays and circuit breakers)
• 4 years or more of industry experience working in a similar Electrical Controls role
• Experience of working hands on with projects from concept to completion
• Excellent attention to detail
• Programming skills – Ladder Logic, PLC’s, Beckhoff etc.
• Electrical wiring/ layout experience using CAD
• Experience working with Ethernet, Profibus or similar ideally
• Knowledge of CAD software – ideally Autodesk Inventor, or SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
• Flexible to travel as needed as part of the role

The Control Systems Engineer role will involve:

• The development, design, programming and support of control systems for industrial machinery and automation equipment
• You’ll be involved from design through to coding, testing, installation, documentation and support
• Leading the electrical department
• Travelling to sites globally as required for equipment installation
• Ensuring company standards are always adhered to
• Liaising between different departments and working with other offices / teams when required
