Senior Cost Engineer Opportunity – Major Infrastructure Projects

Role Overview

Cost engineering role focused on estimating, cost control, reporting and stakeholder engagement for major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimating & Cost Analysis – Define scope, develop schedules, and benchmark costs.
• Cost Control & Reporting – Support forecasting, variance reporting, and EAC management.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with key project teams to ensure financial transparency.

What We’re Looking For

Cost engineering experience in infrastructure or defence. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and financial reporting abilities.

Project Interfaces

Key Stakeholders: Client Cost Manager, Client Project Managers, Accounts, JV Project Manager & Project Controls Manager.

• Lead cost reporting & forecasting in line with project schedules.
• Drive the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
• Oversee change impact for budget control & financial planning.

Qualifications

Cost Management & Contract Management (e.g., NEC); Management of EAC Process; Earned Value Management; Stakeholder Liaison & Forecasting.
