Senior Customer Solutions Engineer (remote, UK/Europe) at Checkly. Join to empower developers to own and ensure application performance and reliability from pull request to post-mortem. Checkly unifies testing, monitoring and observability using OpenTelemetry, Playwright, and Monitoring as Code.

What You’ll Do

• Become an expert on Checkly and the Monitoring space, helping drive the Monitoring as Code movement.
• Engage with valuable customers at various stages across pre- and post-sales.
• Assist prospects with the technical evaluation of Checkly, from initial demo to successful implementation, owning this process.
• Communicate with customers and share learnings with Product and Engineering to influence Checkly’s direction.
• Contribute to improving technical documentation, processes, and policies.
• During onboarding, participate in Customer Support to learn the platform; provide Support when needed in the future.

What You Should Have

• Strong technical skills to read, write and debug code (JavaScript/Node.js preferred).
• Autonomous and self-motivated in a remote-first environment, with teamwork in a collaborative setting.
• Exceptional empathy and curiosity; passion for helping customers succeed.
• Proactive, ownership-oriented mindset to build long-lasting customer partnerships.
• Experience in a Solutions Engineering role, ideally in a dev-tools SaaS environment.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.

Compensation

For this role, the range is: £115k - £128k OTE (70% base + 30% commission) for the UK; €131k - €146k OTE (70% base + 30% commission) for France, Germany, etc. Salary is determined by location and seniority.
