Role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet the needs of our international customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of mechanical design projects, from concept to completion.
  • Produce detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
  • Apply industry best practices to improve machinery performance, durability, and safety.
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and integrate innovative solutions into designs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new products.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years plus experience in mechanical design, within heavy machinery manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
