Senior Design Engineer Location: Derry, Co. L'Derry Were working with a well-established engineering firm that specialises in the design and build of bespoke machinery and technical systems for a global client base. With continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design projects from concept through to delivery. Key Responsibilities: Develop mechanical concepts, 3D models, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks Lead projects through design, build, testing and commissioning stages Liaise with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery Ensure all designs meet relevant safety standards and directives Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development Criteria: Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum 7 years' experience in mechanical design, ideally in special purpose machinery or bespoke systems Proficient in SolidWorks Strong understanding of mechanical principles, pneumatics, and manufacturing processes Experience managing technical projects from concept to completion Want to find out more?
