What You Will Do:

Lead the design and development of new products from concept through to production, ensuring high-quality solutions. Drive rapid prototyping and iterative design cycles to accelerate time-to-market for innovative products. Conduct design reviews, DFMEA, and risk assessments to maintain high design standards and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to deliver seamless project execution. Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise to support their development. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and directives, including CE/UKCA, ATEX, and DSEAR, while championing continuous improvement initiatives. What You Will Bring:

Proven experience in design engineering or new product development roles, with a minimum of five years of relevant expertise. Strong proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD, including large assemblies, configurations, and design automation tools. Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, CNC forming, welding, and assembly. A solid understanding of engineering systems compliance standards. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver on time and within budget.
