Enso Recruitment is partnered with a global organisation seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support and evolve their cloud-based infrastructure. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative tech team driving automation and reliability across a complex cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using modern best practices
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using AWS CDK with Python
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and consistent deployments
• Support observability across systems using monitoring and logging tools, proactively resolving issues
• Collaborate with development, QA, and delivery teams to align infrastructure with software releases
• Implement and uphold security standards and processes across cloud environments
• Contribute to agile delivery and actively participate in agile ceremonies
• Produce clear documentation for infrastructure, tools, and operational processes
• Share knowledge and mentor colleagues within the team

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience in DevOps engineering roles, ideally within complex or regulated sectors
• Strong technical proficiency in AWS and Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK
• Solid background in containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins
• Understanding of observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Grafana/Loki/Tempo/Mimir)
• Agile mindset with experience working in agile teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver in fast-paced environments
• Confident communicator and team collaborator
• Experience with version control systems and backlog tools (e.g., Git, JIRA)
• Ability to balance team collaboration with independent delivery
