Senior Digital Engineer – Yorkshire | Advanced RF & Embedded Systems

A well-established engineering business working at the forefront of RF, microwave, and embedded technologies is looking for a Senior Digital Engineer to join its growing team. This is a hands-on role focused on developing digital and FPGA-based solutions for high-performance systems used in sectors such as aerospace, defence, and communications.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading hardware and firmware development across the full lifecycle -from concept and design to testing and production. Designing digital control modules and embedded systems architecture. Coding, simulation, and verification using industry-standard tools and equipment. Supporting production test processes and improving existing systems for performance and reliability.What we’re looking for:

A degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. Experience in digital hardware design, schematic development, and testing. Strong understanding of microcontrollers, sensor interfaces, and power supply design. Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across engineering disciplines.Location: On-site in Yorkshire, working with a supportive team and contributing to both current and future-focused technologies.
