Senior Drainage Engineer

My client, a UK based Consultancy which specialises in Residential, Commercial and Industrial Development Project for Public and Private Sector Clients, is searching for a Senior Drainage Engineer to join a team in Cardiff.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Engineering (including a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering) and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments, surface water drainage strategies and detailed drainage designs for residential developments using Infodrainage, Microdrainage or Causeway Flow.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience managing projects and mentoring staff.
Typically, the role will involve the following;
-Residential, Commercial and Industrial Development Projects. -Detailed Drainage and Foul Water designs using Microdrainage and Infodrainage. -Surface Water Management Plans. -Sewer and SuDS designs using Infodrainage and Flow. -Flood Risk Assessments. -Hydraulic Modelling and GIS Mapping. -Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Business Associates to develop business opportunities.
