Overview Job Title: Senior Drainage Engineer Location: Based near Guildford Salary: £35,000 - £43,000 This role is with a highly-respected, well-established multidisciplinary consultancy, renowned for lending their expertise to projects across the transport planning, infrastructure, and environmental impact sectors. They are looking for a driven, experienced Senior Drainage Engineer to work on a variety of challenging projects alongside an established team of experts. Responsibilities

Work on projects across the residential, commercial, and retail sectors Contribute to renewable energy projects for public and private sector clients Complete Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) for Flood Zones 1, 2, and 3 Produce Surface Water Management Plans, as well as Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies Prepare Drainage Impact Assessments Design Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) for a range of residential developments and other projects Use software packages such as MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, and Causeway PDS Mentor and manage colleagues across a range of projects, overseeing all aspects from inception through to delivery Contribute to business development by liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Required skills and experience

A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Hydrology, Civil Engineering, or a related field Extensive design experience in a UK-based consultancy or Local Authority setting Experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Drainage Strategies, and Drainage Design High proficiency with software such as MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, etc. Experience leading projects or people Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Good literacy and numeracy skills

Desirable skills and experience

Chartered Status, or actively working toward it Hold a full, valid UK driving licence Good time management and organisational skills
