Westlakes are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team based in Cumbria.

Role Responsibilities

Lead and direct a multi-disciplinary engineering team to:

Identify the feasibility of the approach Develop an outline requirement specification Identify the TRL levels and associated development plans to deliver a viable solution Prepare a plan for the delivery of the appraise and select phase of the project. Deliver to the agreed time, cost and quality Lead the multidiscipline teams, responsible for estimating, scheduling, forecasting and the production of the agreed design deliverables Manage the JV teams in production of deliverables Develop the safety case(s), including attendance at HAZOPs, support to safety assessment, review of ES, and production of substantiation documentation Identify additional resource demand where required to ensure all deliverables can be originated and checked in accordance with the project schedule Interface with other Project Discipline leads within the project(s) Interface and en...
