My client is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Building Services consultancy team in their London Bridge office. In this role, you will take a senior position in designing and developing electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. You will both oversee and deliver projects, provide technical guidance to junior engineers, and ensure the delivery of energy-efficient, sustainable solutions that comply with regulations and exceed client expectations.


Role: Senior Electrical Design Engineer - £38.00-£42.25 per hour - Outside IR35


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage full Electrical Design on multiple projects of all sizes across various sectors
  • Coordinate closely with mechanical and sustainability engineers
  • Attend client/design meetings and ensure technical delivery
  • Support junior team members and ensure QA compliance
  • Provide quality control for Electrical Engineering projects across all offices.
  • Project cost control.
  • Management of both project teams and cross-functional teams within the organisational structure.
  • Conduct complex site assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Review and approve technical drawings, reports, and calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical standards and building regulations.
  • Drive the integration of renewable energy and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Supervise testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
  • Oversee and coordinate project workflows, ensuring timely and quality delivery.


Desirable:

  • Chartered Engineer
  • Experience with renewable energy integration or smart building services.
