Senior Electrical Design Engineer\n\nLocation: Oxford\n\nSalary: £50,000 - £58,000\n\nA multi-disciplinary consulting firm is looking to hire a passionate and experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will become part of their supportive team, using design to assist the building services sector in becoming more sustainable.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nProduce high quality drawings and specifications\nConduct design calculations both manually and using computer software\nCommunicate with other design teams, understand client requirements and select solutions appropriately \nEnsure your work is of the best quality and in line with project budgets\nPush for continuous professional development, staying up to date with new industry developments/software/best practices\nEffective site management, ensuring contractors and installations meet compliance What we’re looking for:\n\nA degree in Electrical engineering, Building Services or another relevant field \nA minimum of 3/4 years’ experience of design in building services\nExperience using relevant software i.e. Microsoft Suite, Relux/Dialux, Revit, Amtech\nUnderstanding and familiarity with BREEAM\nUnderstanding of HV/LV systems \nMembership/chartership – CIBSE, IET \nKnowledge of; British/EU standards and building regulations, some mechanical engineering practices Benefits:\n\nSickness/maternity/paternity pay schemes\nOpportunity to buy and sell annual leave \nProfessional development opportunities \nCycle to work and electric car schemes \nWorking on exciting and challenging projects Interested? \n\nIf you’re an Electrical Design Engineer ready for a fresh challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
