A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a growing manufacturing business who are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team. My client are market leaders within their sector & experiencing a very exciting growth period. As part of a strong engineering function of R&D, Electrical, Mechanical and Software Engineers this role involves managing the whole electrical control systems process of complex machinery which is critical to key sectors in manufacturing.

Role Description

Producing and updating detailed electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD

Producing 3D layouts if electrical panels along with 2D layout drawings. Allowing correct placement parts to meet electrical standards

Collaborating closely with Mechanical, Software, R&D teams to deliver solutions on time and to budget

Correct part selection to meet electrical specification. Correct current and voltage determination of system demands

Safety PLC programming to meet ISO standardsSkills and Qualifications

HNC / HND level qualified engineer in Electrical/electronic Engineering or Degree Qualified

5 years+ experience with Electrical Design Engineering

Experience in working with PLC programming

Proven experience with design of electrical schematics and control systems

Electrical CAD Package experience (ideally AutoCAD)

Strong communication both internally and externally

Well versed in managing multiple projectsCompany Information
