Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centres

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate electrical design on small to mid-sized data centre projects

  • Collaborate closely with internal MEP teams and external consultants

  • Deliver across the full project lifecycle (RIBA Stages 2–5)

  • Use design tools including ETAP, Revit, Relux/Dialux, AutoCAD and MS Project

  • Liaise with contractors, clients, and project managers, ensuring delivery within scope

  • Conduct site inspections, feasibility reports, and stakeholder presentations

    • Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering

  • Chartered or actively working toward chartership with IET or CIBSE

  • Experience with data centre or mission-critical facility design

  • Strong knowledge of UK and European electrical standards and regulations

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed

  • Security clearance or ability to obtain it

  • Experience delivering BIM-coordinated projects

  • Understanding of sustainable and resilient design in critical environments
