Principal Electrical Engineer - Power\nLocation - Midlands, Gloucester or the North West.\nSalary - £45,000 - £62,000 DoE\nSecurity - Due to the nature of this work, only sole UK eligible for Security Clearance can be considered.\n\nCopello are working with a leading Defence organisation to recruit Electrical Engineers across multiple levels, supporting critical Power programmes.\n\nRole Responsibilities\n\n * Design and develop solutions to complex engineering challenges\n\n * Apply fundamental design processes, tools, and systems throughout the engineering lifecycle\n\n * Contribute to multi-functional project teams to deliver on time and to budget\n\n * Support project planning and manage your own workload with guidance where required\n\n * Take an active role in both routine and high-complexity tasks\n\n * Continuously seek improvements in processes, systems, and ways of working\n\nSkills & Experience\n\n * BEng (Hons) / MEng (or equivalent) with CEng (or working towards)\n\n * Experience across the engineering lifecycle\n\n * Knowledge of one or more of: power system modelling, generators, switchgear, protection, power electronics\n\n * Strong understanding of Power System Architecture, & Distribution, Protection & Coordination, or Power Earth Fault Monitoring\n\n * Proven experience working to industry codes and standards
