Senior Electrical Project Engineer\n\nLondon\n£425–£500 per day | Immediate Start | Freelance Contract\n\nOur client is a leading M&E Contractor with a £200m turnover, delivering high-profile projects across mixed-use, high-end residential, and commercial sectors. With projects ranging in value up to £40m M&E, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join their London team on a long-term contract basis.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the electrical packages from pre-construction through to project completion (PC), ensuring works are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Overseeing the design development, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems.\n\n * \n\n Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.\n\n * \n\n Providing technical expertise and solutions during the pre-construction phase.\n\n * \n\n Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.\n\n * \n\n Monitoring progress, reporting to the Project Manager, and driving delivery.\n\n * \n\n Supporting testing, commissioning, and handover activities.\n\nAbout You\n\n * \n\n Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).\n\n * \n\n Proven experience delivering large-scale M&E projects (£20m–£40m).\n\n * \n\n Strong track record working across high-end residential, mixed-use, or commercial developments.\n\n * \n\n Ability to manage projects from pre-construction through to completion.\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset
