Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 basic + good benefits package

My client is a very well-established, highly profitable company that designs and manufactures a range of electronic instrumentation products that are used all over the world.

Due to expansion, they are looking for a Senior/Principal Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital to join the team.

You will have a strong background in electronic design with a broad skill set covering analogue and digital design.

In this role of Senior/Principal Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital, you will be designing electronics from scratch for brand-new products as well as supporting existing products.

This company treats the R&D team like adults and is happy for people to work from home when the work/projects allow. The caveat to this is that they expect you to be in the office when you need to be there. E.G New project meeting, you need to be in the lab with a SW Engineer working on a prototype etc. So, this can't be described as a home/remote-based role, but you will be able to work predominantly from home if you wish. They also have Engineers who like to come to the office most days, which is also fine.

Responsibilities and Technical Skills required in the Senior/Principal Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital will include:

• Extensive experience in designing analogue and digital circuits. In reality, the work will be predominantly digital, but a good foundation in analogue is still important.
• Experience of working on design projects from concept to manufacture.

The company is investing heavily in their products; for example, its next generation of products will heavily involve IoT technologies.
