Position: Senior Electronics Engineer
Location: Burnley (Hybrid - 3 to 4 days WFH per week)
Salary: Up to 60,000 + Benefits

KO2 are working with an innovative client in the electronics devices space, and they are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to support exciting new projects. Based out of their Burnley office, with the flexibility to work from home 3-4 days per week, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact across multiple industries.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the design and development of electronic circuits and systems.
  • Taking projects from concept through to production, ensuring performance, quality, and reliability.
  • Integrating and optimising wireless communication technologies (e.g. LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, LTE-M, BLE, Wi-Fi).
  • Ensuring designs meet EMC, environmental, and relevant industry compliance standards.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including software and mechanical engineers.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an Electronics Engineer, ideally at senior level.
  • Strong knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design.
  • Experience with PCB design and layout tools.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontrollers.
  • Experience with wireless communication protocols is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, testing, and certification requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and leadership.
