We are supporting an award winning, innovative international manufacturer with their recruitment of a Senior Electronics Design Engineer. This business has enviable staff retention and a long history of developing the careers of ambitions people.\n\nReporting to the Head of Engineering and NPD, this role is to be a senior figure in the team for electronic product development, driving new product development with the latest technologies and approvals and maintaining and supporting the existing portfolio with ways of improving for next gen products and the process' of delivery. \n\nInstall and embed electronics development area\nDesign new enhanced developments and management of existing control systems as required\nProject manage from concept to production including control of EMC and safety testing of designs and ongoing certification and testing of products.\nTransition and support from existing external resource current developments.\nLiaise with established offshore PCBA vendors\nFuture mentoring of additional resource to assist in the enhanced development activitiesYou:\n\nEmbedded firmware design in C with ARM CortexM\nSource code management with the use of GIT\nElectronic design of analogue and digital circuits, instrumentation, sensors and displays\nControl of PCB design\n8 years' experience of relevant industry experience in an R&D or development environment.\nDegree or equivalent in electronics design\nProject Management\nAbility to find and understand and apply the latest technologies\nStrong product standards and compliance understanding \n\nDesirables:\n\nPeople management\nPCB layout design CAD\nElectrical skills\nFamiliar with Welmec 7.2, EMC requirements\nPython \n\nPlease apply for immediate consideration.
