Job Title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Sheffield (onsite)

Salary: Up to £65,000 (depending on experience)

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will take a lead role in the design and development of advanced electronic systems. This hands-on position spans the full product lifecycle—from concept through to production—ensuring the delivery of high-performance, reliable, and environmentally responsible solutions for modern data centre environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of electronic hardware across the full product lifecycle

*

Design, develop, and test PCBs

*

Create and validate both analogue and digital electronic circuits

*

Integrate embedded processors, sensors, and power electronics into system designs

*

Ensure adhere to EMC compliance standards

*

Conduct rigorous testing and prototyping to validate functionality and performance

*

Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams

*

Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to a culture of technical excellence

Key Skills & Experience:

Demonstrated experience managing the full electronics design lifecycle

*

Proficient in PCB design using Altium Designer or similar tools

*

Solid understanding of both digital and analogue circuit design

*

Hands-on experience with power electronics and embedded systems

*

Strong working knowledge of EMC compliance and sensor integration

*

Practical testing and debugging skills for electronics validation

*

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams

*

Awareness of sustainable technologies and a passion for energy-efficient design
