You will work within a team using the latest innovations to solve complex problems.ResponsibilitiesBeing responsible to the Project Design Authority for software development and related software engineering activitiesSolving technically challenging problems from rapid developments to full scale system developmentsApplying rigorous engineering practices such as analysing, designing, implementing, testing, supporting and maintaining solutionsThe innovation in the application and integration of digital hardware technologies to build novel embedded systemsRealising a system into functional components and then decomposing into a backlog of deliverable User StoriesCommunicating ideas with multiple stakeholders and customers at all levelsEssential ExperienceThe ability to operate both independently and collaboratively as part of a closely coupled teamExtensive software development experience in a range of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java or C#The ability to develop and integrate software systems using both bare metal and Open Source/Commercial Operating systemsKnowledge and implementation of complex software solutionsPrevious experience developing for embedded platformsPrior experience with Unit Testing & CI/CD toolsExperience being comfortable using both Linux and Windows operating systemsEssential QualificationsWe value difference and we dont have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.This role is 37 hours per week based at Malvern and is fully on-site.Please note DV clearance will be required for this roleLocation and ClearanceMalvern.
