Lead Sourcing Specialist - BAE Recruitment Centre at AMS (Senior Engineer – Combat Systems Platform Integration) | Location: Scotstoun, Portsmouth, Filton, Broad Oak, Frimley, Farnborough. Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for Combat Systems Communication.
  • Provide technical overview to the Technical Lead & Principal, and support execution of system-specific tasks in line with programme dates and Tech Lead direction.
  • Assist in the development of designated attached Early Careers.
  • Communicate articulately when liaising across BAE Programme Disciplines and other stakeholders.
  • Provide technical input to ECB with Change Tasks completion and preparation for modelling.

Essentials

  • HNC/HND in a relevant discipline.
  • Begin professional registration (IET, ENCOSSE, etc.).
  • Experience of physical integration during the design lifecycle; technical dissection and understanding of VFI & TDPs.

Desirable

  • Experience of Integrated Communications System in a Naval environment.
  • Time served, preferably with Combat Systems or Naval Communication/Networks Systems.

Engineers at all levels should possess an engineering or related STEM qualification and aim to become Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through a recognised professional institution. Support to achieve relevant accreditation is provided. Preference given to candidates who are already professionally registered.
