Your day-to-day work will involve: leading identity and access management (IAM) efforts within the Security Operations Team, designing, implementing, and managing identity and access controls across cloud and on-premise environments.
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Engineer within the Security Operations Team, you will work predominantly in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) specialism, designing, implementing, and managing identity and access controls and policies across both cloud and on-premise environments.
- Work with a range of technologies with a strong focus on Microsoft products such as Active Directory (including Group Policy and Certificate Services), Entra ID (including Enterprise Applications and Application Registrations, Privileged Identity Management, and Conditional Access), and Intune (including Configuration Policies), applying RBAC to ensure least-privilege access and compliance with internal security policies.
- Collaborate with Security Operations and wider ICT colleagues to enforce access control policies, respond to identity-related incidents, manage PKI certificates, and provide reporting.
- Contribute to the day-to-day operational success of the Cyber Security and IAM & AD teams, with a voice in security strategy and planning.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
- Proven experience in IAM technologies and frameworks with a strong understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID, and cloud identity platforms.
- Familiarity with access governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate are a plus.
