OverviewWSP Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, United KingdomJoin to apply for the Senior Engineer - Fire Engineering role at WSPJob description and responsibilities for the Senior Fire Engineer role at WSP in the UK.YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT’S INVOLVEDAs a Senior Fire Engineer, you’ll typically be working on a variety of projects at once from a University in Scotland to a high-rise residential tower in London, with plenty of international projects. All with the same goal of enabling innovative architectural design without compromising on the fire safety of the building.You’ll be running through design information, liaising with other WSP disciplines such as Facades, Acoustics and Structures, presenting designs to local authorities and the Fire Service, and helping to inform the design team about what changes could be made to increase the safety of the building.In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, we support professional registration via IFE and other professional bodies.
