You'll play a pivotal role in designing, building, and running cloud-native applications using modern technologies like Golang, Python, Kubernetes, and AWS serverless. You'll be joining a cross-functional, international team working in close collaboration across Backend, Front-End, Product and SRE. Job Description You will: Design, develop and operate scalable, high-performance microservices and APIs using Golang and Python Deploy applications across Kubernetes clusters and serverless AWS environments Drive a security-first approach across design, implementation and operations Collaborate with Front-End, Product and SRE to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions Provide mentorship to junior engineers and help shape engineering best practices Lead Day 2 operational tasks including observability, debugging and continuous improvement Stay current with trends in cloud infrastructure, security, and architecture patterns Personal Specification Technical Competencies (Essential): Strong hands-on experience with Golang and Python Proven track record in delivering production systems using AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker Solid understanding of IAM, OAuth2, and secure software development Experience in building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs Confident with SQL and experience with data platforms such as Snowflake Skilled in managing complex infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud networking Demonstrated ability to manage application observability, triage and monitoring Technical Competencies (Desirable): Familiarity with Auth0, AWS Cognito, Helm, Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry or Honeycomb Experience with CI/CD pipelines for containerised and serverless environments Knowledge of additional cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure Benefits Market-leading salary (£70,000-£100,000 depending on experience) Fully remote role (NI-based) Generous annual leave entitlement Modern tech stack and greenfield project work Excellent career progression and mentorship opportunities Inclusive, collaborative culture with a global engineering team Skills: Go Golang Python AWS
