Senior Engineer - Nuclear Power Plant Project

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer to work on a major nuclear power plant construction project in Suffolk, England.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 2-4 Section Engineers
  • Utilize and recommend best engineering methods
  • Apply design process knowledge
  • Develop and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Interpret as-built information
  • Provide guidance to less experienced staff
  • Complete quality assurance documentation and record keeping
  • Implement Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) requirements
  • Produce method statements or demonstrate understanding of their production
  • Act as Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) with a strong understanding of temporary works
  • Understand materials and plant requirements, including call-off schedules
  • Be aware of site Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures
  • Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant technical/practical experience in an engineering role
  • Structures experience
