Job Description:

Job: Senior Engineer - Power & Propulsion (Electrical)
Company: BAE Systems
Hourly Rate: £34.84 PAYE or £46.90 Umbrella
Location: Fully Remote
Contract: 6 months (Opportunity to be extended)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Arrangements: 1 day per week, 1 week per month on-site
Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Generation and Quality of Supply
HV Distribution and Electrical Safety
HV and High Power Protection Systems and Earthing Systems
HV and High Power Cabling and cable routing
High Power Electric Drives and Speed Control

Skills & Qualifications:

Typically degree qualified (not essential), likely to be in engineering or other related discipline.
Meet the requirements for registration as Incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council and preferably be a member of a relevant Professional Body.
5 Years' experience in engineering or a defence related industry.
