RINA is looking for a highly experienced Power Systems Senior Consultant / Engineer to lead and manage multiple projects for large power and electricity corporations. The portfolio is broad, advising clients on complex issues in the substation design arena, with a focus on protection controls (PSPC). This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in a growing Power Systems capability group in the UK, with opportunity to work on international projects also. This role can be based out of our Manchester, Leatherhead or Brighton offices; RINA supports smart/hybrid working. Moderate travel across the UK is required.

The established 260-strong global Power Systems Business Unit supports growing market demands in power generation, including environmental protection and the expansion of Hydrogen in energy.

The 120-strong Engineering Power Systems team in the UK provides Engineering Consultancy in electricity distribution design, carbon capture, renewable generation and storage, grid connection, and earthing & lightning protection.

We provide a vast array of consultancy services including site characterisation, concept & design, due diligence, procurement to operation & maintenance. Our clients include lenders, investors, TNOs/DNOs, OEMs, developers and other stakeholders on key power and renewable engineering projects.
