SmartWorking (Hybrid Working)

Our client operates a SmartWorking policy allowing personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure UK location. These 12 days can be available even during leave periods, offering around 60% remote work flexibility.

Description of Project/Role and Main Responsibilities

A Senior Process Engineer is required to support various projects, working under the Project Discipline Lead Engineer. Projects will span from Feasibility through Basic Design and FEED, involving onshore/offshore oil/gas facilities, with a focus on LNG and renewables.

The main responsibilities include:

  1. Working autonomously to deliver specific scopes of work.
  2. Debottlenecking existing facilities and coordinating multi-discipline report production.
  3. Producing and reviewing standard process engineering deliverables in line with company and international standards.
  4. Following up on contractor activities, including checking documentation such as P&IDs, datasheets, and Design Basis documents.
  5. Liaising with team members across multiple geographic locations on technical activities.

Candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skills required:

  1. Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering.
  2. Chartered status with the Institute of Chemical Engineers is preferred.
  3. Experience with FEED and EPC projects for Oil and Gas Processing facilities.
  4. High technical autonomy and ability to work independently.
  5. Experience with HYSYS simulation is advantageous.
  6. Experience across project phases from Feasibility to Detailed Design and Construction.
  7. Expertise in CCUS, LNG, or Offshore technologies is advantageous.
  8. Knowledge of Eni tools and standards is a significant advantage.
