I’ m currently recruiting on behalf of my client a Tier1 Main Contractor an experienced Senior Engineer in the Leeds area.\n\nStart date: Immediately\n\nConstruction – Tier 1 Main Contractor\n\nGenerous Package £65K -£70 K+bonus (this will be based on experience) generous pension, life assurance +car allowance\n\nThe ideal candidate will have high rise residential and tier 1 main contractor experience\n\nThe Role:\n\nSite based and reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Engineering on a busy site.\n\nExperience & Qualifications:\n\n * An industry applicable ONC/HNC B Eng, NVQ or equivalent experience\n\n * Good all-round knowledge of multiple processes.\n\n * Computer literate with a good working knowledge of AutoCAD\n\n * You will be able to demonstrate a high level of construction knowledge\n\n * You will be an ambitious individual, take pride in what you produce, have good communication, organisation and leadership skills, and a strong customer focus and customer service skills\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Sorting out initial setting out on sites\n\n * Liaising with the Tender Handover team and establishing ground models to fix levels\n\n * Value Engineering the design with the team looking at potential savings\n\n * Monitor the Engineering team ensuring quality is met\n\n * Take off and pricing of materials and ordering to site for use\n\n * Input into planning including short term maps\n\n * Inputs into site safety\n\n * Management of Subcontractors\n\n * Material Reconciliations for bulk orders\n\n * Implementing new technology to speed up processes\n\n * Mentoring of junior Engineers\n\n * Inputs into site meetings\n\n * To behave in a manner that supports the company’s Values\n\nIf is of your interest apply with the latest version of your cv or call Georgeta
