Salary: £54,793+ Depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:

Ensuring all aspects of the teams works are reviewed, challenged and accurate before release in to wider stakeholders for approval

Responsible for the management & dissemination of accurate and topical data for all aspects of Change, DAREO and package order / bid activities

Managing, influencing and interfacing with senior managers to gains approvals aligned to required clearance routes for any aspects of Buildings & Infrastructure (B&I) Future Combat Air System (FCAS) works relating to:

Securing project funding
-
IBP / FCAS investment planning and forecasting for future works, aligned to both the business & MOD fiscal years

Management of escalating the impact of risks as they become issues & dependency failures. Providing accurate impacts (cost, time) and driving resolution across appropriate stakeholders to safeguard B&I deliverables

Management of the LCM toolset and gated documentation inputs into mandated systems. Ensuring the required outputs and associated LCM data packs are generated to support required reviews.

Support to securing agreement to the B&I tailoring plan for LCM

Development, management and approval of topical PM artefacts in support of capital works contract requirements, e.g. Overarching B&I portfolio PMP etc

Management of a small team of people delivering all PM aspects business case / bid, change, DAREO & LCM activities
Your skills and experiences:
-
Ability to analyse, understand and articulate multiple facets of the programme deliverables to distil an accurate output for the required audience

Demonstrable experience within a project management environment and a good understanding of the project lifecycle

Good and stakeholder management experience, particularly with the ability to guide and influence quality outputs
-
Demonstrating visible leadership in the management of a small team of people delivering PM activities in support of FCAS Building & Infrastructure deliverables. Positively influencing the team to ensure all aspects of Health and Safety, training, development and working policies are adhered with as standard practice and behaviours

Ability to motivate and manage a small team of people for delivery of the required outputs to time and quality

The FCAS Investment & Infrastructure Services PM team
The Future Combat Air System (FCAS) Programme of works has a target in service delivery date of 2035. As part of the Infrastructure & Facilities Services (IFS) FCAS PM delivery team you will be involved in delivering new / upgraded facilities & infrastructure capability in support of development of the new aircraft system. The changes required to the Warton unit to allow capability insertion are akin to a ‘once in a lifetime’ developmental programme of works, currently standing at 94 onsite facility / infrastructure packages of work across Samlesbury & Warton. The scale of the task will see onsite construction works, the like of which have not been experienced previously and will have impacts beyond the fence line and into the local communities. This ambitious site wide transformation is being delivered against several complex considerations and currently fluid backdrop in terms of:

Scale / size & capacity issues at both sites, along with other Air programme and export customer needs
