Conception to Reality Inc currently seeking a Senior Field Engineer to join our team.

About the role:
The primary responsibilities of this position are to oversee field engineering and construction within the given scope, schedule, and budgetary constraints, to provide industry-specific, experienced consulting services, and to provide professional and concise technical communication to all project stakeholders.
What you'll do:
Build and maintain high-level customer relationships
Manage construction/engineering projects through to completion, including:
Oversee daily work of contractors and vendors
Manage project scope
Manage project schedule
Coordinate and conduct on-site bid meetings with vendors and contractors
Conduct daily meetings while on site
Prepare and distribute daily reports; technical communication skills are critical
Manage permitting and fees
Mark-up “as-built” drawings and feed information back to CtR CAD or engineering resource.
Create and update MS Project schedules
Create charts and spreadsheets using computational analysis in MS Excel
Request purchase orders and change orders
Conduct design reviews and implement efficiency improvements
Manage the completion of the punch list at the conclusion of the project
Ensure installation meets customer specifications
Train or oversee the training of customer production employees at the conclusion of the project
Interact with the following on a daily basis:
CtR PM
CtR mechanical/electrical/process engineers
CtR management
Customer corporate engineers
Customer plant personnel, from operators to the plant director
Contractors
Vendors
PEs
Others, as needed
May assist the Project Manager in performing conceptual work and feasibility activities, conducting site audits, and completing scope-of-work documents from the design premise

Our ideal candidate:
Education and experience
B.S Degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical or civil), or Construction Management
10 years' experience required, 15-20+ years
Manufacturing field experience, especially in the food and beverage industry, is required
Technical manufacturing knowledge and practical project management experience is required
A background in a production environment as a project engineer, maintenance manager, and/or production manager
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Project; AutoCAD Viewer
Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus
75% travel expected to client sites, depending on project needs
Outstanding communication skills—especially written
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain successful relationships both internally and externally
Ability to work well within all levels of the client company
Exceptional organization and time management skills
Excellent technical skills and knowledge of manufacturing project planning, process systems, equipment, and operations
Ability to resolve problems, make decisions and be creative to keep activities moving forward toward a positive result
Ability to create and update Gantt chart-style schedules
Ability to read, interpret and mark up manufacturing line drawings
Basic hands-on troubleshooting ability of mechanical and electrical issues required
Ability to create a project plan, using logical thinking
Ability to successfully prioritize and execute against an organized plan

Competitive pay: $45-$55 per hour equivalent to $115,000- $150,000 annually

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand or walk for long periods of time (6-8 hours); climb stairs and ladders and navigate all areas of a construction zone and functioning plant environment; operate measuring equipment; work at a computer; talk and hear, and to comply with all safety regulations. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The work performed in a manufacturing or construction environment, occasionally in an office environment, with frequent (75%) travel to sites required. The manufacturing environment is usually noisy and may be hot, cold, and/or wet. Long and off-shift hours are occasionally required. Safety shoes, safety vests, and safety glasses, as well as ear protection, are required when on-site at client manufacturing or construction locations. Hair nets and beard nets are also required when on-site at client manufacturing locations.
