Senior Finance Assistant

Hayward Hawk are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our financial services client for an Senior Finance Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis.You'll have the opportunity to grow in your role, while playing an important part in our client's continued success. This is an in office role. What you'll do: Monitor bank accounts regularly to verify successful transactions and liaise with banking partners to resolve any discrepancies. Prepare and submit VAT returns to HMRC as required. Conduct due diligence, including identity verification and risk assessments, for new clients in compliance with anti-money laundering regulations. Ensure ongoing compliance of the fund and associated entities with investment mandates and legal obligations. Communicate clearly and promptly with clients and external professionals to support the effective management of the fund and its related entities. Open and administer bank accounts for the fund and associated companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Oversee the proper handling of funds in accordance with the funds governing documents and regulatory requirements. Process fund transfers in a timely mannerparticularly for investmentsensuring alignment with contractual agreements. What you'll need: Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficient in relevant software and Microsoft Office applications, with particular expertise in Word, Excel, and Outlook. High standard of organisation and planning skills.
