Tangible is a fast-growing, tech-driven platform providing liquidity solutions to LPs and GPs in the private-markets secondaries space. By combining deep sector expertise with modern infrastructure, we unlock liquidity across private equity, private credit, and real assets, transforming the industry and enabling investors to move faster and smarter.

We are looking for a a Senior Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript to craft high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly applications. You’ll translate polished Figma designs into seamless experiences, shape our frontend architecture, and collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams.

This role is open globally to full-time contractors working on a CET schedule.

Tasks

  • Develop and maintain advanced React/Next.js applications, delivering responsive and accessible interfaces.
  • Ensure accuracy in translating Figma designs into production-ready features.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and maintain seamless user flows.
  • Contribute to the evolution of frontend architecture, component libraries, and performance strategies.
  • Champion best practices in accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and security.
  • Actively engage in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers through documentation, pairing, and structured onboarding.
  • Contribute across the full project lifecycle — from early design through launch and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience with React, Next.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant UIs.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and collaborating closely with backend teams.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and security practices.
  • Familiarity with frontend architecture design, component libraries, and modern tooling.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor AI) to enhance productivity, code quality, and collaboration.
  • Thrives in a fast-moving startup environment - flexible, proactive, and self-directed.
