Senior Frontend Engineer - React & AWS Location: Remote (UK & Ireland) Ref: OCHO-SFE0425 We're partnered with a high-growth tech company building software used by some of the world's biggest enterprises, streamlining workflows, scaling complex operations, and enabling data-led decisions across global markets. Their engineering culture is lean, modular, and product-led. They're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who brings deep React and TypeScript experience, understands modern cloud-native architectures, and values clean, maintainable code. This team builds with intent - design decisions are thoughtful, ownership is encouraged, and quality is never an afterthought. What You'll Be Doing Leading Frontend Builds Architect and implement React applications (Hooks, Context, TypeScript) in a shared monorepo environment. Shipping Scalable Interfaces Develop performant UIs that integrate with serverless APIs and AWS-native services - ensuring consistency, speed, and reliability. Championing Code Quality Set high standards around reusability, accessibility, and developer experience (think component libraries and Storybook). Mentoring Across the Team Support peers through pairing, code reviews, and levelling up test strategies (Jest, Cypress, etc). Owning Full-Stack Awareness Contribute to wider engineering decisions - from analytics and authentication to observability and real-time event pipelines. Working in a Modern DevOps Stack Collaborate across DevOps and Backend teams in an automated CI/CD pipeline powered by GitHub Actions, Terraform, and ArgoCD.
