As a team member, you will play a role in building, maintaining, designing, and implementing new microservices and improving our existing Golang services as well as contributing to the our React Native mobile application. Along with product development and improving the infrastructure, engineers are given the opportunity to innovate, experiment and try out new technologies.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with product managers and engineers to build complete automation solutions from backend to frontendSwiftly tackle defects and solve them for good, reducing tech debt along the wayProactively make improvements to the infrastructure in terms of robustness, security and performanceLeverage APIs for integrations with other platformsContribute to automated testing efforts and increasing test coverageWrite technical documentation and runbooksProcessing large data sets and deriving analytical dataQualificationsAt least 5 years commercial experience in full stack software developmentServer side coding in at least one language preferably in Golang and writing maintainable, testable code with unit testsFrontend coding experience with strong Typescript skills and comfortable contributing to React and React Native projectsExperience in building APIs and micro servicesExperience with SQL and NoSQL databasesComfortable working in a Linux environmentExperience working with AWS features and toolsProduct minded: committed to building the best user experience with experience working closely with product managers and other engineersUnderstand the trade-offs in employing different engineering solutions to a problem, valuing pragmatism over idealismEager and open to learning #J-18808-Ljbffr
