Our ideal candidate:

• Has 3+ years of Kubernetes experience (ideally 7+ years in software development).
• Is experienced with open-source software and community building.
• Has worked in small, self-organizing teams with clear objectives.
• Is experienced in ideation, quick prototyping, and scaling products.
• Is passionate about helping developers and builders.
• Is opinionated yet humble, open-minded, results-oriented, and accountable.
• Experience with startup or project failures is a plus.

Required power and experience:

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of cloud-native experience, including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Understanding of front-end frameworks like React/Redux.
• Experience with API definitions (OpenAPI, GraphQL).
• Proficiency in at least one server-side language (Go, Java, Python).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with a public cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Experience with Git, GitOps/CD, CI processes.
• Familiarity with agile tools and methods.
• Strong communication skills.
