A New Chapter Begins.Fueled by bold ambition — Play your part in getting us on the grid.Closing Date: 12th September 2025ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for the end-to-end design, integration, and continuous development of gearbox assemblies and associated transmission systemsAct as a key technical interface between design, analysis, manufacturing, and trackside operationsOversee complex design projects and mentor junior engineersQualificationsRequiredSignificant experience in the design and development of high-performance gearbox or drivetrain systems in Formula 1, WEC, Indy Car or an equivalent motorsport environmentA proven track record in leading complex mechanical design projects from concept through to trackside validationA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related discipline, or equivalentHigh level of expertise in CAD systems (preferably Siemens NX or CATIA 3DX), with excellent understanding of GD&T and precision tolerancingStrong understanding of lightweight materials, composite design, surface treatments, lubrication systems, and heat management within high-load rotating systemsFamiliarity with structural validation techniques, FEA collaboration, and fatigue or damage-tolerant designStrong working knowledge of FIA technical regulations relating to transmission systemsBenefitsThe Cadillac Formula 1 Team challenges conventions and redefines success through bold ambition, cutting-edge innovation, and an unwavering commitment to precision and excellence—on and off the track.
