A talented team in Guildford are looking to assign a Senior Geotechnical Design member to work alongside them on a vast range of interesting projects from rail to tunnelling.

As the Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer will be given the chance to contribute to business development and secure new projects through client liaison.

Your role as a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer means you will be managing the development of conceptual designs in accordance with project requirements, managing teams, representing the company, and leading the design of major infrastructure projects.

As well as helping with the development of junior staff the Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer you will also have the opportunity to work on the progression of your professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development of conceptual designs in accordance with project requirements.
• Manage teams, represent the company, and lead the design of major infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to business development and secure new projects through client liaison.
• Support the development of junior staff and progression of professional development.

Qualifications

• Relevant background
• Must be able to sign off design reports
• Hold a Civil Engineering BSc
• Live within a commutable distance from the Guildford office
• Full UK driving licence
• Must be a Chartered Civil Engineer
