OverviewSenior Hardware Engineer role within Wood's Systems Integration team, supporting projects across the UK as part of Woods Consulting business unit. Hybrid working is available, with Tuesday and Wednesday based out of Aberdeen, Glasgow or Staines. Travel to client sites is expected. This position is for a minimum 6 month duration. Applicants may be required to pass BPSS security checks.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for identifying/defining the Automation hardware requirements and solutions for the clientImplements the defined hardware Automation solutionsSupports the Lead Engineer in accomplishing project objectivesApplies integration concepts to a wide variety of systems and across multiple vendor platformsEngineers’ technical aspects of automation project design and / or implementation for assigned activitiesImplements the hardware design activities for assigned activitiesPrepares engineering studies, design drawings and material and equipment specificationsResolves specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standardsQualificationsWhat makes you remarkable?At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team.
