Essential:
Chartered or a highly experienced Engineer working towards CEng (min 10 years relevant experience required) Evidence of leading multi-disciplinary projects to achieve customer’s programme, cost, and quality expectations Extensive design and construction experience in highways including review of design software outputs Experience of commercial awareness in project delivery Extensive experience of Local Authority design standards and contracts Evidence of developing and mentoring staff Experience of design resource planning and programme management Evidence of managing H&S in design and construction Good understanding of CDM (Construction Design Management) regulations Computer literate particularly Microsoft Excel and Word Experience of the NEC suite of contract documents and administration Knowledge of highway design guidance and standards including Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, Manual for Streets, LTN 1/20 (Low Traffic Neighbourhood), TSRGD (Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions), MCDHW and other relevant codes of practice and design standards Ability to compile specifications and Bills of Quantities (BoQ) Proficient in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience would be advantageous) Full UK/EEC driving licence You’ll get this and so much more…
