You’ll lead usability strategies, mentor junior team members, and help shape the future of our Human Factors capability.Key responsibilities include:Leading full Human Factors programmes aligned with client and project goalsConducting desk and field research, risk assessments, and formative/summative studiesGenerating actionable insights and design recommendations from data analysisProducing high-quality reports and presentations that meet Crux standardsCommunicating confidently with clients and internal teams to manage expectationsNavigating project risks and ensuring timely, successful deliveryBuilding trusted relationships and identifying new business opportunitiesSupporting proposal development and project scopingMentoring and line-managing junior team membersPromoting Human Factors best practices and regulatory awareness across the businessContributing to the continuous improvement of HF processes and team capabilityWhat We’re Looking ForEssentialEducated in a Human Factors related subject (Product Design, Engineering, Psychology)2+ years applying human factors in a highly regulated sectorProven experience applying Human Factors techniques and usability principles in medical device developmentDeep understanding of IEC 62366 and FDA Human Factors guidanceSkilled in guiding, designing and delivering user research and putting participants at ease for both formative and validation studiesStrong data analysis and report writing skillsExcellent presentation and interpersonal communication skillsExceptional planning, organisational skills, and attention to detailGreat attention to detailFlexible and collaborative work ethicDegree in a relevant accredited programmeDesirableConference speaking/publication experienceCIEHF/HFES MembershipExperience in a consultancy environment for the medical, pharma or health industries.Line management experienceExperience within multi-disciplinary teams for project deliveryWe’re seeking someone who:Communicates confidently and authoritatively with clients and internal teamsThrives in collaborative environments and gives constructive feedbackIs proactive in navigating project risks and delivering high-quality outcomesHas a strong grasp of industry trends, regulations, and best practicesEnjoys mentoring others and sharing knowledgeIs curious, inventive, and invested in building meaningful relationships #J-18808-Ljbffr
