Senior HVAC Engineer (Commercial Gas & Air Conditioning)

Package & Benefits

• Salary: £45,000 per year (OTE £55,000+)
• Hours: 40 hrs per week – door-to-door travel paid
• Work-life balance: No call-outs, no weekends

The Role

As part of our team, you’ll work across a varied client base including schools, hospitals, factories, and offices. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll carry out service and repair work on commercial gas and air conditioning systems.

• Perform load calculations, energy efficiency analysis, and compliance checks with safety codes.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and gas systems.
• PPM, service and repair of HVAC (air con and commercial gas systems)
• Lead troubleshooting and provide technical solutions for complex system issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients, contractors, and other disciplines.

What We’re Looking For

• Commercial gas qualifications (e.g. CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, COCN1, ICAE1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, TPCP1, CoNGLP1PD)
• FGAS or NVQ Level 2 in refrigeration & air conditioning
• OFTEC (advantageous but not essential)
• Full UK driving licence
