Overview

From 11 UK sites, our team of nearly 1,000 people delivers unique capabilities across space, air, land, sea and cyber for military, security and commercial customers across the UK and worldwide. L3Harris in Bristol is our headquarters for our Maritime UK businesses which provides warship automation systems through control and simulation solutions that are in service on Albion Class Landing Platform Docks and Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers. More systems are being developed and delivered for Type 26 and Type 31 frigates. We have additional Maritime UK sites across Burgess Hill, Barrow-In-Furness and Portchester. Together, we are powering the Royal Navy\'s adoption of autonomous surface vehicle technology as well as delivering autonomous capability to UK ports, harbours and offshore energy service providers.

Responsibilities

• Act as Senior Engineer within the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team to provide expert advice and documentation on supportability and support solutions across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with engineering leads and project managers to oversee successful delivery of ILS outcomes for the assigned project portfolio.
• Create accurate, detailed Through-Life Support models, plans, and costings to support business wins and demonstrate robustness, reliability and cost-effectiveness of products/services.
• Guide product lifecycle decisions from design through implementation to ensure optimal supportability, availability, reliability and maintainability at a cost-effective level.
• Plan and execute ILS elements as defined by Def Stan 00-600.

What you\'ll bring / Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years\' experience as an ILS Engineer.
• Expertise in a broad range of ILS/IPS methodologies and technical risk management.
• Ability to understand and create solutions for common ILS challenges and issues.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a small team setting.
• A passion for mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and management.
• Proficiency in writing concise briefs and presenting data effectively.
