As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Infrastructure and DevOps), you won't just be maintaining systems, you'll be a key architect of our future infrastructure landscape. Working alongside Technical Architects and Principal Engineers, you'll design, maintain and upgrade our infrastructure, tackling challenges head on and ensuring seamless service delivery. Key Responsibilities

Designing and implementing new services to meet the evolving needs of the Cabinet Office. Be a crucial point of escalation for our Live Service, diving deep into root cause analysis and finding effective solutions. Guiding and mentoring junior engineers, creating a collaborative and growth oriented team environment. Managing and supporting our AWS cloud environment, including deploying new services via code. Maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure servers (Linux and Windows), with primary focus on the Linux servers. Working with cutting edge cloud technologies, contributing to the migration of existing systems and the implementation of innovative new solutions. Integrating and improving our existing processing systems to enhance performance. Maintaining the integrity, availability, performance and capacity of our infrastructure. Carrying out change control activities with precision and documenting our infrastructure.
