We are looking for self-motivated, engineering-driven professionals who are pragmatic, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in creating and operating large-scale, highly available, and high-performance systems.Your role in the Team’s SuccessAs a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in building and enhancing the infrastructure that powers our fast-growing retail brokerage business while also supporting various other business initiatives.With a lean team and a management philosophy that values autonomy, you’ll have the freedom to shape impactful solutions.What You’ll DoIn this role, you'll ensure the reliability and efficiency of the infrastructure by staying ahead of evolving technologies, proactively identifying potential issues, and leading multiple tasks and projects. Our goal is to maintain the most stable, performant Infrastructure possible, to deliver the best experience for our customers.Lead the design of scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure (on-premise, cloud, or hybrid).Work closely with software engineers, DevOps, and SRE teams to align infrastructure with application needs.Define infrastructure standards, best practices, and reference architectures.Optimize infrastructure usage for performance and cost-efficiency.Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as TerraformServe as a technical advisor to leadership, helping with strategic planning and investment decisionsMentor junior Infrastructure engineers and provide technical guidance.How We WorkWe try to take a thoughtful approach to our ways of working as a company. We’re committed to building teams with a variety of perspectives and skills to help us realise our vision and strategy, that’s why we encourage applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences to join us on this journey.Learn more about our D&I approach here.What You’ll Need For This RoleStrong working knowledge of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), requiring a mix of infrastructure, virtualisation, and cloud-native skillsFirm grasp of hypervisors: AHV (preferred), VMware ESXi, or Hyper-V in Nutanix clusters.Experience with VM provisioning, live migration, cloning, snapshots, and DR within HCI environments.Knowledge of distributed storage fabric and how Nutanix abstracts and pools storage.PowerShell, Python, or REST APIs for automating tasks, familiarity with Nutanix REST APIs or CLI tools (ncli, acli)Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and network layersStrong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional IT teamsKey Qualification RequirementsPrevious experience working with Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure is essentialThe PerksYour growth fuels our success!Thrive with tailored development programs, mentoring opportunities with leaders, and clear career progression.
